We’re all readers here, right? Reading is probably at the top of our favorite-things-to-do-list. It’s definitely on mine. And I know we all have different preferences about how we’re consuming books. One of my favorite ways to get more books read is listening to them on audio- especially if the book is read really well. It adds a whole new layer of connection to the story for me.
I’ve always said that it takes real acting talent to bring a book to life through voice. I always hesitate to say yes to anyone who asks me to read from my own books at an event or on a podcast or radio show, because I know I don’t have that talent.
And when someone does, it makes the book really come alive.
My guest today, Becky Parker Geist, understands that.
